The company JEWA s.r.o. was established in spring 1994. Due to the necessity of separating individual areas of activity, in 1995 the company JEWA export - import s.r.o. was established. The founders of these companies are graduates of the Secondary Forest School in Hranice na Moravě. The activities of the companies result from this fact. The company JEWA, s.r.o. operates a saw mill in Bystřice n.O., where the main production programme is the production of lamellas for sealing euro-prism, production and drying of joinery timber, production of binding units on roofs, packing material from wood, production and sales of flooring, etc.

The company JEWA export-import s.r.o. is specialized in forestry activities (logging, transporting wood, cultural operations), purchase of wooden substances (round timber, pulp-wood) vertically or in the place of transport, purchase of joinery timber, leasing of a recreational facility in Morávka, and the purchase of forest land. With the increased demand for wood fuel, the owners of the company looked for an alternative in this area and obtained representation for Europe for the sale of DURAFLAME compressed fuel.
